We are currently seeking Home Care / Support Workers who are passionate about providing high quality care to our aged care clients across the St George and Sutherland area.

Knowledge / experience/ attributes:
The successful candidates should possess but not limited to the following:
Essential:
- Motivation and commitment to caring for the elderly and/or people with disability who may have challenging behaviour
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in community aged care or equivalent
- Evidence of good communication skills, including basic skills in written and spoken English
- Evidence of good team building and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge or skills
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current driver’s license, good driving record
- A reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
- Smart Phone with internet access
- National Police Clearance
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency
Desirable:
- Previous experience caring for elderly or people with disability
- Experience in dementia care
- Fluent in written and spoken English or other languages if necessary
- Qualifications &/or experience working with culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations.
