Assistance with Household Tasks
Pearl Home Care offers assistance to complete household tasks that you may not be able to do on your own. When we develop your Support Plan, we will work with you to tailor a schedule of tasks to suit your personal needs and preferences, while be conscious of increasing your capacity to live independently in your own home.
Some tasks Pearl Home Care can assist with include:
- House cleaning
- Dishwashing
- Yard maintenance and gardening
- Meal preparation and delivery
- Garbage disposal
- Laundry service (washing and ironing)
- Changing bed linen

How to Access Support to Complete Household Tasks
The level of support and frequency of services will be dependent on your individual needs, goals and capacity. Funding is not intended to cover services that an individual living without disability would still need to arrange.
The below diagram may assist you to understand if you are eligible for supports to complete particular daily activities (e.g. support from a gardener, cleaner or handyman).
