Meet The Team

Pearl Home Care - Illawarra and Nowra was established in 2021 by Louise and Daniel Primmer and supports clients across the region, including those from culturally diverse backgrounds and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We work closely with geriatric staff specialists at Shellharbour Hospital, ensuring high quality care at home and within the hospital system. With a deep understanding of the diverse needs of the Illawarra community, Pearl continues to empower all clients to live independently, safely, and with confidence in their own homes.

Louise Primmer

Managing Director

Louise brings 26 years experience working within the aged care sector, including as a nurse within residential aged care facilities and as a support coordinator within the community. Louise is focussed on client-centred care and improving quality of life for her clients. She has a keen passion for assisting those who have a diagnosis of dementia and prides herself on the strong connections she builds with her clients and their families.

Prices valid from 1 November 2025

As your Approved Provider, we must provide you with at least one care management activity per month. These services include coordination of your services, resolving problems, and reviewing services. On a monthly basis, a 10% care management budget will be deducted from your budget for this purpose.

Registered Nurses provide a wide range of holistic care services in the community. Enrolled Nurses work with a RN, and can provide some clinical care, such as basic wound management. Everyday consumables are included in this price. Specialised nursing products will attract a cost per item. This will be discussed with you.

Other therapy services may be available on a Price on Application basis.

These are services that others provide, that you choose to use. Supports from these contractors are designed to support your broader needs. Our charges are required to ensure all contractors are appropriately trained and credentialled, and to process service claims.
