Pearl Home Care - South Yarra was established after Paul went through the process of seeking support for his elderly parents whose wishes were to remain at home for as long as possible.
We understand the feelings of uncertainty and fear that many of our clients and participants’ family members may have experienced. This has equipped Paul and Stephanie with the skills needed to provide high quality care, guiding current and future clients.
With a great team of dedicated nurses, support workers and administration, Pearl Home Care – South Yarra offers personalised support for every individual with the aim of improving quality of life and assisting clients to remain independent at home for longer.
We pride ourselves in ensuring direct accessibility to our Director of Nursing for both clients / participants and their families to discuss any concerns or need for additional supports. Together, our team shares a strong passion and commitment to delivering respectful and compassionate, person-centred care.
Our team is led by:
Paul Ferrier
Paul is a Registered Nurse with 35 years’ experience, including 10 years at the Royal Children’s Hospital and 25 years at Monash Health. He holds an Advanced Degree in Paediatric Nursing and a Business Degree. Paul has spent the past 20 years as Assistant Director of Nursing at Monash Health, specialising in paediatrics. In the last 3 years, Paul has dedicated his time to Pearl Home Care South Yarra, with focus on keeping older Australians in their home for longer and supporting our NDIS participants in achieving their goals.
Stephanie Ferrier
Stephanie holds a Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Queensland, where she gained the skills to ensure the highest quality of care at Pearl Home Care – South Yarra. She has spent the past 9 years supporting children’s development in all areas including fine and gross motor skills.
