We are currently seeking multiple experienced and committed Home Care Workers travelling to clients’ homes within the Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula region working alongside our clients enhancing their health/well-being and enabling them to stay in their own homes. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You need to demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
We are offering casual roles with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.
Carer Services
Duties will include personal care requiring manual handling, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, medication assistance and transportation. Experience with Dementia and Mental Health will be advantageous.
Our ideal candidates will have availability across the 7-day roster with hours worked between 7:00am – 6:00pm, but we are flexible to fit in with your work/life balance.
Role Essentials:
- A passion for assisting the elderly to remain independent in their own homes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certificate III in Aged Care (desired for Carer services)
- Current Certificates in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willing to undertake training, including hoists and assisting with medications
- Eligibility to work in Australia
