We are currently seeking Support Workers who are passionate about providing high quality care to our aged care clients across the Gladstone Region.Â
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting consumers to perform important daily activities.
- Facilitating daily personal hygiene and dressing tasks.
- Performing home based tasks such as food preparation and housework.
- Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping and taking client to appointments.
- Transport
- In-home respite
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as a Support Worker in the Aged Care and/or Disability Sector is desirable.
- Must have Cert III or equivalent, First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, Police Clearance, Blue & Yellow Cards, and Drivers Licence.
- Must have own, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Excellent communication skills in customer service.
- Ability to fulfil our standards and values when performing tasks.
- Have an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly.
- Can work autonomously and as part of a small team.
