We are thrilled to announce that our business has been selected as one of only five organisations to receive the prestigious 2025 Palliative Care Eldac Grant. This incredible opportunity has allowed us to further our commitment to excellence in palliative care, and we couldn’t be more excited about the journey ahead.
Recently, we had the privilege of hosting an intensive two-day training program led by Katherine from the Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (PEPA). The training was designed to enhance our expertise in advanced care planning, conducting challenging conversations, identifying signs of deterioration, and preparing comprehensive support systems for families. During our first session in March, five personal care workers and all of our care managers engaged in immersive learning experiences that not only deepened their knowledge but also ignited a passion for palliative care.
With our second day of training scheduled for May, we eagerly anticipate building on the insights gained and continuing to empower our team. The positive feedback from everyone involved was overwhelming, and our team’s enthusiasm for delivering compassionate, informed care is stronger than ever.
At the heart of our mission is a deep passion for palliative care, and we are committed to transferring this knowledge and compassion directly to our clients. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity provided by the Eldac Grant and for the expert guidance from Katherine and the PEPA team. Together, we look forward to shaping the future of palliative care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
